Italian Climate Network – School Project Training Day 2016
In 2015 Italian Climate Network started the development of a new educational initiative, the “School Project”. Secondary schools in Italy don’t always integrate climate change in their curricula. Through a series of multidisciplinary lessons, the project aims at providing accurate knowledge about this phenomenon to young people, raising awareness and empowering them. After a series of trial lessons, the authors gathered in Milan on the 8th July 2016, to share the results of their work and train the team of speakers for the project's launch, scheduled for September 2016.
Authors and presentations:
Federico Brocchieri – CLIMATE CHANGE: CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES AND SOLUTIONS Federico Brocchieri – CLIMATE NEGOTIATIONS
Chiara Soletti – CLIMATE AND HUMAN RIGHTS
Benedetta Rossi – CLIMATE AND HEALTH
Federico Capezzuoli – CLIMATE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT Marco Milano – CLIMATE SCIENCE
As the author of the “Climate and Human Rights” lesson of the Italian Climate Network’s School Project, I presented the results of my work and contributed to the formation of the new team of lecturers.
